So this is the last strip that Jim, the artist, had started, and when he decided to quit out. The Gajin (the dude with the afro in panel 2) has decided he wants to keep it going, so The No Place will live, and we are going to make this happen! Expect a change in the art and dialogue. But man we are going to make this happen. Thanks for reading, and bring your friends over, as this will be huge some day!

Our artist has found he is too busy to put any sort of real time into this, and rather then put out half-assed work, has decided he does not want to work on it anymore.
So, untill I get better at drawing, or find a new artist, the project is officially closed.
Thanks to those who enjoyed what they had seen and the well wishes/compliments. Lar, I'll figure out what you 'owe' me for the vodka later on. :P |

Don't ask why, I just do, but this joke is just much love for our artist, because he has a loathing of all things cute and fuzzy. (You'll see why in the future). For now, just enjoy, and sorry to fans of Avenue-Q, no muppets were harmed in the production of this strip.

So we, by which I mean I (Ryan), arrived at San Diego Comicon today to start looking around to see what the other webcomics do for their publicity, how they format themselves, how their fanbases react, and to just generally get in touch with some of the guys in the industry to hear out their views and thoughts on how things went for them when they first started.
I ended up hanging out with Sohmer and Lar of http://www.leasticoulddo.com/ for a bit and discussed things with them and asked for a bit of feedback. This gal I'm seein had visited them the day prior and brought Sohmer a Red Bull. They joked that they would like some Vodka to go with it. So we brought some today.
Lar quickly confiscated it and we gave Sohmer a four-pack of Red Bull, and Lar decided that he 'owed us' one. A sketch, something like that. I figured a perfect time to hype absolutly nothing. I brought up The No Place, and mentioned doing a guest strip. Lar took one look at the strips we had so far and said he loved the direction it went in, and especially loved the art. Sufficed to say, he was more then happy to. So I forsee colaboration in the future.
More to come later as details ensue. |

So we got strip #2 done sooner then expected, don't expect updates this quickly, but who knows, it may happen as time goes on and it gets easier on writing and drawing and we get used to the characters and story.

So since this is our temp home, we'll just be linking the strips through here for now till I figure something better out. This is a tag-team collaboration between Jim and Myself (Ryan), my writing, his drawing, and I'll be assisting him on weeks when he's out of town or busy or what not.
